The new restaurant / bakery at Jhb Sud has the following functions:

The responsibilities of the waiter / waitress include:

*Provide excellent waiting service to ensure satisfaction
*Receive orders from customers and deliver food and drink
*Offer menu recommendations, answer questions and share additional information with diners

We are looking for a qualified waiter or waitress to take orders and deliver food and drink to our customers.

The waiter / waitress enhances the dining experience for the customers. We are looking for someone with patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

The responsibilities of a waitress / waitress include welcoming and serving customers, providing detailed menu information, multitasking at the front desk, and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast paced environments, we would love to meet you. To be a successful waiter or waitress, you need to be courteous to our customers and make sure they enjoy their meals.

 

Responsibilities

•Welcome customers and accompany them to their tables
•Provide the menu and provide detailed information on request (for example, on parts, ingredients or potential food allergies)
•Prepare tables by arranging sheets, silverware and cups
•Inform customers of offers today
•See menu recommendations on request
•Sell ​​additional products, if applicable
•Take precise food and drink orders, using point-of-sale ordering software, purchase orders or save
•Check customer credentials to ensure they meet the minimum age for consuming alcoholic beverages
•Delivery of order details to kitchen staff
•Serve food and drink orders
•Check the cleanliness and presentation of dishes and kitchen utensils and report any problems
•Organize table settings and keep a tidy dining room
•Distribute checks and collect bill payments
•Carry dirty silver dishes, cups and utensils into the kitchen for cleaning
•Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, menu changes, and service specifications for reservations (e.g., parties)
